TSNN asks: How's it going out there?
Another half year is behind us and we are gearing up to take the pulse of the industry again. At the beginning of 2008, TSNN started the Trade Show Activity Indicator TSAI(TM) to simply act as a free, helpful planning tool for meeting planners and industry suppliers as they attempt to predict future activity in the event industry. Our basic premise for the TSAI is to measure research activity for shows and compare it to the previous period. Since TSNN owns the most comprehensive events database on the internet, we have an excellent data pool to benchmark research activity within our database, look at meeting planner venue RFPs to our sister site, CVBhotrates.com, and triangulate this qualitative perspective with some qualitative research in the marketplace.
In order to facilitate our research with an inside look "from the industry trenches" we need to hear from you to add support or challenge the data findings. So we want to know: How's it going out there? TSNN just posted a question on Linkedin asking :
What is your sense of the health of the tradeshow industry? Are industry events being materially affected by the economy? What are the bright spots and where are the weaknesses? What are your predictions for the second half of 2008? Share your thoughts with the entire industry and help us formulate a realistic view of the current climate. Answers will be used to help support the TSAI(TM) prediction tool developed and managed by TSNN.com. Please add your thoughts here.
