The International Home & Housewares Show 2008 (Chicago, March 16-18) will feature an "Inventors Revue" in which product developers will pitch their new ideas to a panel of "as Seen on TV" experts in a reality-TV-style format. The panel, which consists of direct-response marketing professionals, will provide insight and constructive feedback to the inventors. The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announced in January that Archbishop Desmond Tutu will be the opening keynote speaker for their annual Greenbuild Conference & Expo (November 19-21, Boston). Show delegates can vote online for their submission, with the winner receiving a $5,000 scholarship. The winner will be announced at the opening ceremonies on Tuesday, March 11th.
